NTC and PTC

NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) and PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) is a resistor that changes its resistance when the surrounding temperature changes. For NTC, the resistance value will rise if the surrounding temperature drops. Meanwhile, PTC resistance value will rise if the surrounding temperature rises. These two components are often used as sensors to measure temperature or temperature surrounding area. NTC and PTC shape can be seen in the picture on the side.
