Resistor Color Code

To find out how much the value of resistance (resistance) a fixed resistor, then we can see and read in the form of color coded color rings on the resistor body. Because not all resistor values are listed with the symbol number in the form of numbers, but with a color-coded ring. The number of rings each resistor color code consists of 4 rings or 5 rings there are even more. For reading is not very different ways, namely:
1. Resistors have 4 rings, meaning the ring 1 and 2 is the value of a number or digit, ring the number 3 is a factor (0), whereas the fourth ring is the size tolerance.
2. Resistor with 5 color ring, meaning the ring 1, 2, and 3 are niali digit or digits to ring 4 is the multiplier (the number 0), sedangakan ring to 5 indicates the magnitude of tolerance.
3. Resistor with 6 color ring, meaning the ring 1, 2, and 3 are niali number or digit, fourth ring to the multiplier (the number 0), size 5 ring to tolerance, while the temperature coefficient rings to 6. For more details on the color code, it can be seen in the table below.

  1. Nice blog you have here. It seems the 6th band of the resistor color code can also indicate the reliability instead of the thermal coefficient, see:http://www.resistorguide.com/resistor-color-code/ did you ever see such a resistor?
